7 Global concerns..

In our world, there r 7 type of people that are by the street and need our concern....
1) Children at risk
- girls in India a) forced marriages, which result in giving birth at the age of 14. b)prostitution
- boys in India a)forced to join the army. b)forced to work in the factory as cheap, ill-treated child labour
- In Mexico, childrens live in rubbish dumps
- In Sri Lanka, 25000 children are sold to the sex industry
2) Abused Women
- many are abused across the world
- HIV, their children suffer even more than themselves
- in some culture, women are unable to say no to sex as wanted by whoever that want is
- women trafficking across the world for the sex industry
- some are sold from Nepal at the age of 12 and have no choice but to continue their life as prostitutes
3)The Extreme Poor
- make up the 25% of the world population
- wat we can do to help?? the least is not to be cold-hearted, don't even care of their situation
- Bill Gates, who 'l be stepping down from Micosoft in 2 years time, to participate 100% in fund-raising for the poor, sick and needy.(Thank God!)
4)HIV/ AIDS
- said to be started by homosexual
- one of the dangerous problem to humans
- moral problem linked to it
- wat's impt is that it is easy to prevent, if the people r shown and educated
5)People With Impure Water
- 20& of the world population do not have pure H2o(Water) to drink
- for the past decades, many missionay organisation are helping to solve this problem by digging wells and other means..
6)Unborn Babies
7)Our Planet
- God's creation
- theology in environment
- London, is 5 to 10 times more flithy than Singapore
- 6 billion people is living on this planet
- a lot of complex issue are involved, but wat ever small part we can do to help reduce the damage, do it...
- pray for it..
Evangelism
- respond to their physical needs, not just giving them the bible, as they may not even noe how to read.
- care for them, give them love, give them wat they need, be sensitve
Anguish
- this is wat life as a whole as we can't just live with joy and not anguish with people that are in need of our help
weep with those who weep, rejoice with those who rejoice
